Square Enix 在 Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV 中宣布了 Final Fantasy XV 将会有 5 集的前传动画，而且还会同时推出 Kingsglaive Final Fantasy 电影。
Kingsglaive Final Fantasy 是个 CGI 电影，而且演员们都非常著名- Lena Headey, Sean Bean (Game of Thrones 系列) 与 Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad 系列) 等。
Kingsglaive Final Fantasy 将会描述 Noctis 爸爸 Regis 国王与政治上的搏斗，让玩家们知道为什么 Lucis 王国在 FFXV 会处于在战争中。
