喜欢玩《Heroes of the Storm》的玩家在最近迎来了一个不是很好的消息。Blizzard执行长J. Allen Brack与首席研发长Ray Gresko在Blizzard的部落格上公布了一段文告宣布，在他们评估之后决定将会《Heroes of the Storm》部分研发人员调派到其他部门。同时，Blizzard将会取消2019年的Heroes Global Championship和Heroes of the Dorm的电竞比赛。
这个消息以公布之后，马上就迎来了许多电竞玩家的关注。在Reddit上，有人整理了许多职业玩家对此的看法。因为比赛的取消，也意味着这些靠打比赛赚钱的职业玩家即将面临战队解散或是必须换其他游戏玩的情况。这对一直追着实况主或职业玩家的追随者来说也是一个不小的打击。

在官方的文告中，官方提及这并不是他们第一次做出人员调派的决定，这也让他们成就了许多好玩的游戏如《Diablo II》、《World of Warcraft》、《StarCraft II》以及《Overwatch》这些游戏。由于公司目前手上有多款未公布的新项目，所以才会做出这艰难的决定。官方也承诺《Heroes of the Storm》会继续迎来更新，甚至是新英雄，所以粉丝暂时还是可以放心的。
这几年，Blizzard除了《Overwatch》就在无任何大动作。之前在公布手游《Diablo Immortal》虽然被粉丝打枪，但还是公布会有更多的手游在未来推出，加上在文告中也表示公司还有未公开的研发计划，所以才需要调派其他项目的人力支援。
回头看来，《Heroes of the Storm》一直处于不温不火的状态，即使是Blizzard的亲生儿子也还是没能像《Dota 2》或《LOL》那样大红大紫起来。如今做出这样的决策，想必官方也终于意识到一直抓着《Heroes of the Storm》不放是不会为公司带来利益，所以才果断放手，将资源都放在新游戏身上。希望玩家之后迎来的会是像《Overwatch》那样优秀的作品吧！
