任天堂在近日发布了一则官方公告，并表示将会在 2024年4月早期关闭旗下 3DS 以及 Wii U 主机的线上服务，而随着这项功能的关闭，玩家也无法在相关主机进行线上联机游玩。
As of early April 2024, online play and other functionality that uses online communication will end service for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U software. Thank you very much for your continued support of our products.

在 3DS 以及 Wii U 主机的线上服务被关闭以后，虽然玩家无法线上联机游玩，但由非任天堂推出的游戏服务是否还会保留线上功能，这将会取决于各自发行商的决定。
另外，玩家依旧能够下载通过任天堂 eShop 购买的游戏，玩家也能够继续在相关主机游玩。
