据ComicBook的报道，「Apex Legends News」的Twitter透漏于今日（1月19日）在日语版的官方YouTube信息中加入了「在今年2月2日第八赛季开始的同时，玩家可在Switch平台上游玩《Apex Legends》」。这条消息随后被删除，而且英文版的官方YouTube频道上则从未出现过该消息。

就在去年，官方表示计划把《Apex Legends》加入Switch平台了，但因各种原因这个计划（包括内外部各种因素）已被推迟。当时仅表示玩家可以期待明年在Switch平台玩到《Apex Legends》。
