游戏里外挂以及作弊泛滥，尤其是在射击游戏之中更是令人发指，不过这些都比不上在电竞比赛之中作弊还要来得羞耻。继 2018年印度《CS: GO》选手 forsaken 直接在线下赛使用外挂被禁以后，又有电竞选手在比赛中作弊，这一次是来自北美的《Valorant》选手。

在北美区的《Valorant》女子电竞赛项目之中，一直名为 noot noot 的队伍正与 Complexity GX3 进行三盘两胜的比赛，不过在双方各赢一局之后进入漫长的一段技术暂停。直到刚才官方发布公告的时候，才知道 noot noot 因为被 Riot Anti-Cheat 确认有作弊行为而被判弃权。Riot 官方也将会开始调查这起事件。
值得一提的是《Valorant》北美区女子赛事的入选队伍都是在海选中比拼出赛的，而 noot noot 作弊被曝光的时候，也已经是败者组第二局比赛的事情了。
期间，noot noot 击败了美国网红 Disguised Toast 创建的队伍，并在胜者组被 Shopify Rebellion 以 2比1 的战绩打下败者组。Disguised Toast 表示自己花钱培养一支队伍却在比赛中被作弊而感到不可置信。

此外，在海选赛事中 2比0 击败 noot noot 并成为首支晋级队伍的 V1 的成员也在推特上嘲笑她们。

虽然 Riot 已经确信 noot noot 在赛事中有作弊行为，不过并没有明确表示队伍中的哪一个成员作弊，也尚未决定会给予什么惩罚。虽说如此，但 noot noot 的队伍成员都一致将矛头指向新成员 malibu。
