拥有「地球最强法务部」之称的任天堂的近日正式对Switch模拟器Yuzu提起了侵权和盗版的诉讼。而Yuzu的制作公司Tropic Haze LLC也对此做出了回应。

任天堂首先是指控Yuzu非法绕过了任天堂的软件加密，从而使用户能够非法地去玩Switch平台的游戏，导致了大规模的盗版行为。在这项起诉讼中，任天堂要求Yuzu关闭，并赔偿所侵权行为。
根据任天堂的调查，热门的Switch独占游戏《The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom》在正式发售前就已经被盗版下载了超过100万次，而其中绝大部分的用户都是来自Yuzu，剑指Yuzu助长了盗版文化。其次是，Yuzu同时在Patreon资助平台上每个月获得近3万美元，任天堂认为这是盗版了自家游戏来获利的不法所得。
制作Yuzu的公司Tropic Haze则出示法律文件「传票豁免书」表示已向Pierce Atwood著名律师事务所聘请了律师，准备来和任天堂对簿公堂，并将在60天内做出进一步行动。
一方面，玩家社群多数支持Yuzu和任天堂对抗。有网友认为Yuzu和Switch使用的编码不一样，同时任天堂也无意将独占Switch的游戏发展到PC平台，因此玩家才需要自制能够兼容PC的模拟器。

Man i really wish a big corporation like valve or meta funded their court and lawyer fees and provide them with everything they need because if yuzu loses, we all lose.
