PlayStation 4 Update 2.0 将会有个功能 – Share Play 。 Share Play 可以让你邀请朋友玩你的游戏。
目前为止游戏范围只有在 Local Co-op mode 。 比如说 Ultra Street Fighter IV 与 Player 2 的 Versus mode, NBA 2k 与 Player 2 一起打球之类的。 有些单人游戏太难玩了，需要朋友的帮忙？ Share Play 也可以将你的 Player 1 遥控在网上交给你的朋友，让他来帮你过关。
Share Play 也加强了 Youtube 上载的功能。让玩家们更容易的把他们最棒的游戏过程放上网。
Share Play 唯一的缺点是和朋友们分享游戏被限制 一小时 。玩家们可以每个小时 Restart Share Play 的 App，那玩家们也可以有无限的 Share Play 时间。希望有一天 PlayStation 可以解除这个限时，那玩家们也不必这么麻烦每个小时 Restart Share Play App。
